CHECK US OUT IN THE NEWSNBC5 CHICAGO NEWSWAVE 3 LOUISVILLE NEWSAWARD WINNING PUBLICIST FASHION BLOGI LIVE IN A MAGAZINE FASHION ARTICLEDAILY 24 MAIL (BANGLADESH, ASIA)IMPORTANT INFORMATIONWe do ask models to truly advocate for our cause. Therefore, we select models that have been touched by anti bullying, low self esteem, depression, and/or suicide. We ask those models to sell three tickets to our event to not just raise funds but to also raise awareness for our cause. We need models to be true activists for our cause and bring people from their community to hear our message. This event is about educating the audience members on the signs of depression, how to save lives through suicide intervention steps given during the show, and where to go for help. Our event actually saves lives through the education we provide to audience members and to models. Models play a crucial role not just as volunteers gaining an experience of a lifetime but also as real advocates in their community that work hard to bring family, friends, coworkers, collegues, and acquaintances to the show to save lives. Our shows are top of the line, professional, offer local, national, and some lolc events offer international exposure. As models you are walking for Live Out Loud Charity while gaining real, qualified experience in the industry with photos to build your portfolio, connections that can help to launch your career, and an opportunity to get you to the next level. If models want to take this a step further we invite them to our Model Boot Camp one day prior to our event.View how our charity makes a difference through fashion CLICK HERE. There are mandatory rehearsals listed on the flyer above. Attending both back to back rehearsal dates in July is mandatory for all models selected for our show. The July 13th & 14th rehearsal dates will be held in Chicago at the Palmer House. We want everyone prepared for our professional fashion show. These two back to back rehearsals will feature industry professionals teaching you to walk: model scout, model agency, top models (which lasts for 5 hours plus a lunch break each day). To help the charity we do charge a very small $20 model fee to help our non profit cover the costs of the: facility, lunch/food, and coaching for the 5 hour July training per day. We bring in different coaches so our models are prepared and confident the day of the show. This training is life changing. View VIDEO HERE. Tickets will be due and turned in at the July rehearsal. Models can bring payment or purchase online that day or prior to that day. There will be a short mandatory rehearsal on show day in the venue held Tuesday, September 10, 2019 on World Suicide Prevention Day. Model Fittings will most likely occur during show day but if you live local to your designer they may ask you to come in for an alterntive fitting date as they prepare for this major show. If you book several designers you could be at fittings throughout the entire day. Therefore, we recommend ALL MODELS participating in the show to BLOCK out the day before for arrival and to stay at least until Wednesday. Other models will stay all week long to try and book other New York Fashion Week shows and to go on go-sees with agencies. We recommend you to stay near the venue (a hotel nearby) so you are ready for the September 10, 2019 show. Another more affordable option is to stay in hotels in Long Beach Island that are close to La Quardia airport, then take the subway 45 mins to 1 hour into the show. *Please note some designers will require other dates for fittings so you must attend those should you be selected as a model in our event.

There are two dates to choose from Saturday, Sept 7th or Monday, September 9th, 2019. Model Boot Camp is not mandatory but fittings held on show day are. Pack a lunch and snacks. For nearly a century, absinthe was an illegal substance in America and most of the world, blamed for everything from hallucinations and delirium to even violent rampages. Uncover how a French psychiatrist, ill-timed global temperance movement, and good ol' fashioned fake news caused this widely popular spirit to be banned until the 21st century.
Join New York Adventure Club as we taste and learn our way through the (now legal) spirit of absinthe, all inside a 1921 townhouse in Midtown that is now home to the Church of Sweden.
Led by Don Spiro, co-founder of the Green Fairy Society and one of the creators of New York's vintage scene, our unique experience at this intimate space in Manhattan will include:
An overview of absinthe, from its creation by a French doctor living in Switzerland, to why it was banned in so many countries under false pretenses
A primer on how absinthe is made and traditionally served (hint: no burning sugar cubes!)
A tasting of several different absinthe varietals from around the world
A complimentary absinthe cocktail to sip on while mingling with other adventurers
Click here to see pictures from one of our last absinthe tastings!
See you there!
*While snacks will be provided, we recommend eating beforehand
If you've been to a Jazz Age party or a swinging vintage get-together in New York over the past decade, you can thank Don Spiro for helping to start the movement.
Don moved to New York in 2005 after working in Hollywood for over 15 years — when he noticed the hot live jazz scene from the west coast was missing in the Big Apple, he began organizing his own vintage parties, quickly becoming the city's premier event organizer for everything Jazz Age.
More recently, Don co-founded the Green Fairy Society, an organization dedicated to absinthe’s history, production, and use — swing by one of his monthly absinthe events to learn about this rare spirit from the industry's movers and shakers.
Must be 21 or older. ID will be checked at door.
Ticket price is for educational demonstration with complimentary beverage tastings.

Faces in Between and One Warm Blanket are joining forces with Flywheel for the “Spread the Love” campaign in 2019! Through the month of January and February, we will be collecting new or gently used and washed blankets to distribute to our neighbors experiencing homelessness here in the city at every NYC Flywheel studio.
Join us as we culminate our efforts with an exciting party and charity ride taught by NYC and Fly On Demand Flywheel instructor Kyle Axman, where we will raise money for Faces in Between and One Warm Blanket so that they can continue to do their incredible work! After the ride, attendees will have the option to assist with blanket distribution as well!
Can't make the ride? Support this cause by donating here!
Faces in Between is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization based out of New York City. Faces in Between is dedicated to understanding our homeless’ community needs while bringing visibility to the often-invisible homeless population and providing them with support during the tough times. Faces in Between makes great effort to provide a space for all members of our community to connect in attempt to decrease the stigma and increase humanity. Faces in Between runs seasonal campaigns tailored to community needs and is currently in the middle of their “Winter 2018/2019 Community Comfort Campaign” which involves the distribution of hats, gloves, scarves, Chapstick, blankets, socks and other winter essentials to our homeless community members.
One Warm Blanket by Hil Hustles LLC’s mission is to support the homeless this winter by way of blankets! What started out as an impromptu and humbling experience with a homeless man on his tent community lead to installation of 42 boxes in the Chicago area in an effort to collect as many gently used and new blankets to distribute among our homeless neighbors in the community. The response and support has been incredibly rewarding as many will be warmer this holiday season as a result of so many generous donations. One Warm Blanket has since expanded to Denver and Virginia with the same mission in mind, to spread the warmth this holiday season to people in need.
Root Cause Analysis and Documentation Requirements for CAPA
Overview:RCA is a popular topic and many companies realize its importance in correcting problems. However, there is still much confusion and many problems continue to recur.
This webinar will use thoughtful discussion, humorous analogies and case studies to distinguish between the true root cause and other common imposters. Emphasis will be placed on realizing system interactions and cultural environment that often lies at the root of the problem and prevents true root cause analysis.
Why should you attend: This training will help individuals to recognize and address the true root cause for significant or chronic issues so corrective actions will be sufficiently robust to prevent a recurrence. This training will also build competence and confidence to address uncertainties and fear surrounding documenting CAPA activities that may likely be scrutinized by FDA and other outside auditors.
Areas Covered in the Session:
How the organizational culture and environment encourages problems
Role of Management and system interactions in causing problems
Root Cause Analysis Methods & Practical Applications
Case study examples to distinguish between assignable causes, enabling factors and root causes
System Thinking: Moving from a reactive to a proactive environment
Solution Development and Error Proofing
Who Will Benefit:
This discussion will provide individuals with the necessary tools to understand problems and prevent them from recurring and should be of interest to:
QA and Manufacturing Managers
Auditors, and responsible executives or other individuals responsible for managing the CAPA system and resolving problems in any organization.

An intense 4 hour cannabis training for dispensary jobs in New Jersey, with certification test, to prepare you to work in a Medical Marijuana Dispensary. This course covering laws in BOTH New York and New Jersey will be held in the Newark area on March 9th, 2019!Hilton Newark Airport1170 Spring StreetElizabeth, NJ 07201
This is a Professional Training Course to teach you what you need to know about cannabis and your state’s Cannabis Laws so that you can apply to work in a Medical Marijuana Dispensary. You will be working with cardholders in this position and must understand the medication before you start assisting others. The material is presented in a fast paced, 4 hour course with a summary exam at the end to get your certificate of completion. The goal of this class to help you understand the industry and the medication which will help boost your resume with the knowledge you need to speak intelligently when you land that interview for an opening at a dispensary in the near future.
For those with no legal experience to put on a resume, training increases your chances of getting a job in the medical marijuana industry! On average, a Marijuana business owner gets over 200 resumes for every opening they post. With this training on your resume – you WILL stand out from the crowd!
In New Jersey, physicians determine how much marijuana a patient needs and give written instructions to be presented to an alternative treatment center. The maximum amount for a 30-day period is two ounces. Approved Conditions include Seizure disorder, including epilepsy, intractable skeletal muscular spasticity, glaucoma; severe or chronic pain, severe nausea or vomiting, cachexia, or wasting syndrome resulting from HIV/AIDS or cancer; amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, multiple sclerosis, terminal cancer, muscular dystrophy, or inflammatory bowel disease, including Crohn’s disease; terminal illness.
It also allows edible forms of marijuana only for qualifying minors, who must receive approval from a pediatrician and a psychiatrist. As of Apr. 23, 2014, there were Alternative Treatment Centers with permits to operate in all three regions of the state as designated by the medical marijuana program: north, central, and south.
Marijuana legalization was definitely on the minds of New Jersey’s lawmakers as they began their 2018 session. Sen. Nicholas Scutari and Asm. Reed Gusciora, who have been leaders on this issue, have reintroduced SB 830 / AB 1348, which would tax and regulate marijuana for adults 21 and over. In addition, Asm. Gusciora has introduced A 3581, which unlike Sen. Scutari’s bill would allow home cultivation, but would put a low cap on the number of grower/processors licensed in the state.
Gov. Phil Murphy campaigned on a promise to legalize marijuana, emphasizing the need to address the harms caused by prohibition. He recently included revenues from marijuana taxes in his budget and called on lawmakers to pass a bill this year. Stephen Sweeney, the Senate President, has repeatedly expressed his support as well. The details of a final bill are expected to be the subject of extensive debate. Unfortunately, the opposition has already begun raising the same old fears, ignoring the years of data on the successes of the first states to end prohibition, Colorado and Washington.
Gov. Phil Murphy said in a statement on June 16th that New Jersey is looking to double its amount of medical marijuana dispensaries, as the state is requesting applications for six new dispensaries.
Some states call it a Budtender, Dispensary Agent, Compassion Care Technician or Patient Liaison. No matter what the title is, the job description is the same – it is the person that works behind the counter of a medical marijuana dispensary and here at HempStaff, we believe they need to be trained. They are the product specialists whose main responsibility is to be a product specialist. This person must be trained to work with cardholders and help educate patients on how cannabis can alleviate some of their medical symptoms. Dispensary agents must be able to not only work with cardholders on the products that may work best but also how to use these products and what the appropriate dosages should be.
After passing the cannabis training for dispensary jobs in New Jersey, HempStaff offers you a resume review to help you get your document looking the best that it can before you start sending it out for posted positions. And of course, when our recruiters are contracted to fill entry level dispensary agents or cultivation site workers, we review our student’s resumes and contact them first!
When Dispensary owners need to hire employees to work in their medical marijuana dispensaries, they know our certified students are exactly what they are looking for in terms of initial knowledge of the job functions! We are the ONLY Dispensary Training Course that employs someone with 5+ years of legal cannabis experience as their head trainer! We know the value of having our students able to ask questions that only someone with this much experience can actually answer.

Unless you have experience working in a dispensary, this training will be what you can put on your resume to let employers know you have the knowledge and ambition they are looking for when selecting candidates to interview.
